Manayunk Water Damage Demolition

The water soaked into the hardwood flooring and up the walls causing significant damage. Crawlspace foundations which support hardwood boards with beams and joists must be dried to salvage the material from the scrap heap. The Manayunk area, with the climate fluctuations, faces a challenge in maintaining the structural integrity of the building. The After Photo shows the non-salvageable drywall removed with a flood-gut to minimize reconstruction. The wall cavities and the flooring can slowly be dried with dehumidification to prevent cupping, warping, and splitting of the elements.
